I’d say about once every 6 months or so I hear someone drive by on a flat. I cant imagine the damage done by that giant rubber noodle flopping around. But theres more....
todays champion was driving on a rim. Holy shit. What could possibly posses a person to do such a thing.... at like 40 mph????

I truly believe such folks don't understand the damage they are doing and think that if they can just get that last mile to home or whatever, that then they can take care of it. They don't realize they will have lots more to take care of when they get there.

When I was living in Savannah, this minivan came down the off ramp. Rear tire was smoking and banging. They get off the off ramp. I’m certain they’re going to pull into the first side street. They don’t. I’m certain they’re going to pull over and park then. They don’t. They keep driving. Before they get to the first major intersection (about a block and half from the ramp), the front of the van starts smoking too. That’s when they stop right in traffic.
I don’t see anybody get out. I had to leave so I don’t know what happened next, but absolutely enraging displays of monumental idiocy were just the norm when living in that city. There’s no way they could not have known, so I don’t know if they were just so fucking stupid they thought they could drive it home or to a shop or what. Obviously reality kicked in and their stupidity lost.
